I don’t envy them, I was born in 1965 I had my childhood in the 1970’s, started my working life in the early 1980’s, bought my first house for less than 20k in 1985, and my career took off in the 1990’s. I’ve had a very fortunate life, no regrets whatsoever. I certainly wouldn’t want to be 25 years old now.

Maybe I expressed myself poorly?

I was just trying to say I would love all the years they have left.

But that sounds like you have regrets

It's for enlarging a gentleman's sausage. So I've heard.

Why? I think you are mis-interpreting.

And no not at all. I have had a good life in the main and am having a great life now.

All I said is that I would like the calendar years my eg grandson (21) has ahead of him ie another 60 or so.

No regrets in that statement.
