I was hoping to go for a walk today, had to stay in for a parcel, now they tell be it won't be delivered until 16:30 to 18:30

Exactly right. I use it with two of my grandchildren who live 300 miles from me.

Paul thinks to himself "what the hell is that noise?" Paul looks out of the back bedroom window to see two scaffolders erecting scaffolding supported on Paul's slate kitchen roof.

Apparently the roofer told them he asked me and it was OK!! He didn't. It isn't. They scaffolding is coming down. Unhappy scaffolders.

Seeing this business of the Archbishop of Canterbury made me chuckle.

When my Dad were a lad he was a judo champion. He was also a choir boy.

You know what's coming next,

One day the choir master thought he'd have a fiddle with my Dad. Dad, on the other hand, was having none of it. Despite only being 12 he got the choir master in a lock and proceeded to slap him around a bit.

My Grandparents called the police, only for my Dad to be taken away in handcuffs. 70 odd years later he's still bitter about it.

I don’t blame him for being bitter…..but you know what, his voice would almost certainly be heard now, if he wanted of course.
I have wondered for years why there are over 20 Bishops in our House of Lords.
