Good morning, hate that grey? Wash it away! I'm considering replacing the window in our back bedroom with an ultra high definition OLED screen showing a recording of a warm summers day in the countryside, complete with birdsong. A small fridge containing snacks and a pitcher of G+T next to my reclining chair, and recordings of Desert Island Discs playing softly in the background should serve as an occasional refuge when it all gets a bit much ☀️☀️😎😁
An oversized digital photo frame. Just remember to turn the picture to suit the telly.

I have a bit of touching up do to on the kitchen ceiling today then I'm done well and truly.
And the painting, finished?

SO I have finally got round to trying to clean the top bits of the air fryer

WHY OH WHY OH WHY to they make the elements impossible to remove????
I mean -on the previous one I did manage to loosen it and jiggle to out a little bit by streching the cables a bit so I could remove and scrub the fan and the area underneath
but that one "mysteriously" stopped working
so I am a bit reluctant to do the same on this one

back in the good old days - when dinosaurs were happily wandering past the windows -an element was connected by a push fitting and help in place by a single screw
nowadays the damn thing is not intended to be moved - almost as if they just don;t think you might just need to clean the thing properly
(and I do know some people who don;t even clean the basket (Yuk) so I can see the point!)

anyway - at least I must be feeling better as yesterday I hardly even had the energy to make a cuppa!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

That's what ruins air fryer for me, the fact that you can't clean the inside top of them.

After some of my laptop letters packing up, I'm deciding what, or maybe even if, to buy a new one. ..
Hmmm... Decisions decisions 🤔

Meanwhile, I'm going to wash my bike & car today.
My advice would be a Chrome Book. My Surface Pro 4 won't receive updates after October 2025. I've started looking at Chrome Books to buy next June.

I have a Ninja and the elements are concealed so I only see the drawers with their removable base/tray. If doing eg fish, sausages or bacon I do them on tin foil which I then bin.
It still gets yucky so, just yesterday I bought a spray bottle of HG Oven, Grill and BBQ cleaner. Not tried it yet so I will report back.

I'm beginning to think my grandsons 4 month old cocker spaniel is broken. Whenever they bring him here, he spends 98% of his time asleep. I don't think I've seen him fully awake yet.

He must be. I meet a few Cocker Spaniels around here, and apart from the elderly ones they are all hyper active.

Meter done so first test will be to check the heating comes on at 1.30pm for 3 hours. The IHD display seems to be working ok already. I’ve got hardly anything electrical on just now and have only used 2 pence since it was fitted. I think it might get a bit obsessive checking it so it may well end up in a drawer after the initial novelty wears off.
