Morning all, I have a roofer arriving today to give the roof a service, I best get out of this nice comfortable bed and do a few jobs before he arrives. Enjoy your day.

Good morning all.
It's trying to get light out there.
All the usual things to do today, plus, some more fence painting, as it's not going to rain today or tomorrow I'll get the last panels and the gate done.
It's bin day today, normally the recycling lorry has been down by now, but seems to be running a bit late.

We saw a documentary last night about the gun powder plot. It mentioned that to celebrate the country being safe again bonfires had to be lit each year on fifth of November. Attendance was compulsory for all until the law was repealed in the mid nineteenth century. Something to thing about at your bonfires tomorrow.

Good morning, hate that grey? Wash it away! I'm considering replacing the window in our back bedroom with an ultra high definition OLED screen showing a recording of a warm summers day in the countryside, complete with birdsong. A small fridge containing snacks and a pitcher of G+T next to my reclining chair, and recordings of Desert Island Discs playing softly in the background should serve as an occasional refuge when it all gets a bit much ☀️☀️😎😁

Morning. I looked in earlier but nobody was about. An early head torch riverside trail done in a fine drizzle.

Today’s excitement is getting a smart meter fitted. The engineer texted yesterday to say he would be here between 9 and 9.30.

Bit of tidying up in the garden today. Mainly leaf clearing.
Expecting a couple of parcels, so won't be venturing far.

Today’s excitement is getting a smart meter fitted. The engineer texted yesterday to say he would be here between 9 and 9.30.

My suggested workout today is a " Tempo Run " warm up for ten minutes, then 16 minutes at a pace I can't achieve followed by a ten minute warm down. 😁
Might just do the warm up / warm down bits 🤔
