After I lifted the carpet I couls see all the old floorboards with the cuts where the central heating was installed. The people who had installed the central heating had written the locations of cables and water / gas pipes in pencil on the boards. I went over the old marks with chalk and took photo's. I was able to lift a couple of part boards and double check. I propose to go along the line of original nails with a Nail Punch and add a floorboard screw adjacent to it in the line of the joists.

Yes, that's the way to do it
Answered the door to some years ago, I'd to put the slasher(going to clear someone's back garden) to one side where it couldn't fall as I opened the door. Got some odd looks, but they didn't say anything, just turned and walked away.

Wouldn't do as much damage as a chain saw but it obviously did the job!

Very jealous , it all looks very cosy. I’ve always wanted a camper van 😀
The only thing that worries me slightly is the fact you are keeping the loo roll on the sink 😂😂

Good morning all.
Uncle Ernie has come up trumps again £300 this month.😁
It's going to be a cloudy day, I'll be out on the bike at some point though, got to keep the legs ticking over.

Serious question as I have no idea.
Do you buy/use the actual tail of an Ox.
If so, why ie what is so unique in flavour.

Never tried it myself as the name puts me off.

I've never tried the stuff but with there being so many tins of " Oxtail Soup " I have a mental image of a production line of tins beef soup with a single tail from an ox being dipped in and out of each can as they wizz past.
