Back home, that was hard, very emotional, but no tears. It took me about the same amount of time to get home as it did get there, but that could because I should have had wee before I left the pub.
Always guaranteed to have you moving quicker than you thought possible.

Good morning from a windy and wet Dorset. Granddaughter had a sleepover and forsook her fold out bed that we make up under the bedroom window. I lasted until about 1am when I relinquished the last bit of mattress and decamped to the spare bedroom. Wandered in with coffee this morning to find granddaughter starfished across the bed and Mrs Tkk sleeping in the made up bed 😁. Her remark was " I lost the fight for the Duvet ".

Morning everyone.
A strange day for me. Daughter and granddaughter have gone away for a week. SiL is visiting his Mum and has taken the 2 dogs which leaves just me and the cat and she is one ignorant moggy. She just wants feeding but otherwise totally ignores people.
So, a quiet day for me, which is fine.

Good morning all.
It's a bit misty out there at the moment.
Yesterday's day out at the races was very good. I came home with £5 more than I went in with, so although not a millionaire, I turned an extremely small profit.
Only to get flashed by a speed camera in Potters Bar on the way home last night. I was talking to MrsP at that moment and forgot about this camera which is about 100 yards before the speed limit changes from 30mph to 40mph. This will be my first ever speeding fine.😡
Today will be a dog walking and domestics day, whilst flitting in and out of the Elite Mens road race at the World championships. The BBC are showing it on the iplayer from 9.30 and BBC2 this afternoon.

You will have to pay the fine but can probably avoid points by going on a 'speed awareness' course.
I did one once and have to say it was excellent.
