Morning all, eye test this morning and a visit to my friends at Nottingham City Hospital later. A week or so back I tried on all my clothes, having lost three stone the majority were way to big for me, everything that was has been laundered and is being donated to the burns unit at the hospital, it seems a lot of people that end up in there have lost everything in house fires.

Good morning all from a grey, rainy and cloudy Barnet.
Sainsburys are due to deliver the weekly goodies including six bottles of wine which were on offer, buy six get an extra 25% off. So I took advantage. 2 bottles of Malbec, 2 of a Cote du Rhone and 2 different Oinot Grigio. 🍷🍷🍷
Not that much planned for today, I can't really do much in the garden as it is too wet, so I'll do a session on the turbo later.

Mrs D has phoned me, with all the road closures she's struggling to get into work and is on her way back to work from home. She also says the road near the school is flooded, which will be chaotic for the last school run drivers.

I'll walk Mini D to school,walk Bruce, home, tidy up,ironing, and bass practice as meeting with the new band for a jam tonight.

In the workshop this morning doing wheel bearings on Ted's Bantam.
I've signed up for the Exmoor Motor Club's trials practice day on October 6th to see how my Montesa goes and whether my ageing body is up to it. Wish me luck!
