My son is taking delivery of his brand new Tesla next month. I have never had a ride in an e car so looking forward to it. He has chosen silver grey colour with black interior.

Spookily quiet is my over-riding impression.

Indeed. To my ear even the most refined luxury ICE cars sound like canal boats when im travelling in them. Would never go back.

I have returned from the metropolis. I live in the foothills of the Canmbrian mountains and we have mist over the hills and I can feel moisture in it as well so that's cooled things down a bit thank goodness. It was 20 deg when we went out, it's now 18.

'Car Tax' has risen this year from £180 to £190.

There goes another decent-ish bottle of plonk.
