Just had phone call from my local garage.
CRV passed it's MOT - no advisories - and it's been serviced.
Suppose I've got to keep it for another year.
Ain't bad for a 19 year old car.

We had pork, please, roast potatoes and gravy. Didn't enjoy the pork though. It was far too fatty for me.

I didn't realise how weak I have become and getting out of breath quite easily.
I had one of my cottage pies for lunch, thank heaven for ready meals and batch cooking as there would be no way I could have cooked it right now in the way I'm feeling.

Life gets confusing and more confusingerer .
This morning the Doc said I will be going home today.
I had my ultrasound and they found something they weren't happy with so they arranged. A CAT scan. Just back from that and am waiting results.

A good, but long overdue, decision on his part. He simply no longer looks fit for the job. At 81 it's no surprise.

I popped to the LBS to find the owner wouldn't be back till 3.15. No matter, I'll pop into Blackburn, find a cafe and there's a couple of bits I need to buy and go back. Perfect.

No longer any free on street parking in Blackburn. I refuse to pay £1.50 - £2.10 to park up to buy coffee for 30-40 minutes. End result? I left, drove to Morrison's, parked for free and had, a very average, coffee.

Chorley gives one hour free all around town with no more than a five minute walk to the centre. There's a lesson in that tale.
