The rain seems to be with us now. Managed a couple of hours on the bike in the dry this morning. Snoozing in front of the Tour this afternoon.

It's been raining here for the last couple of hours and looks like it is in for the rest of the day.
I've made myself a ham and tomato sandwich, a cup of tea and will watch the tour on the telly. Not a lot happening at the moment though.

It seems to have been raining here ever since Tony Blackburn was in the charts, it is not good for my mental state. Bring on the sunshine and warmth on my back, I am planning to break the winter up this year with a trip or two to warmer places.

It does make me laugh when others have a go at this thread, saying it's just oldies moaning about nothing, yet the mundane news thread is now over 11500 pages.

Well, I am a bit disappointed as they only showed 5 seconds of the start in Orleans but, on the other hand, they had a very shot of the chateau of Chambord which is not far from Orleans. None of my brothers went to see the start as they don't like crowds.
Very mixed weather here today.

Now, this is exciting; the other day, I think that I read to crack a egg shell drop it onto the kitchen worksurface from a height of 6 inches, It is absolute rubbish, it makes a right mess unless, of course, they meant hard-boiled eggs. The mess has be cleaned up and crunchy fried egg sandwich eaten, off to gym and swim later this evening so I needed a light snack.
