Been shopping and I didn't have to use the self checkout, but I did have to wait 10 minutes to get served,
very damp here so won't be going far today.

Took a run over to visit dad’s old neighbour. Nice to catch up on what’s happening in the village. It was so peaceful sitting in his conservatory. Hardly any traffic going past. More cyclists than cars I think. I still miss village life even although it’s 41 years since I left.

I would think it's ok on a sausage sandwich, but not with an egg.

Is the Bantam up and running yet?

It's all back together and starting, running and changing gears OK.
Just sent all the documentation off this morning to start the registration process.
Hopefully, it will be back on the road before the end of 'summer'.

I love anything with chilli flavour.

I have had a lazy afternoon. Rather than go back out, I had a nice steep in the bath and stuck the pjs on. Just finished doing a jigsaw on the computer. It’s nice to have a lazy day occasionally.

Been for a little wander in the intermittent sunshine, lots of ringlets fluttering about and the occasional red admiral.

Just been watching a little video from our new MP. As our local councillor he was frequently posting little videos while out and about in the ward, responding to residents’ concerns and providing updates on ongoing issues. So now it seems he’s carrying on the practice down in London, it feels like we are getting quite an inside view of his new boy experience. I’ve never felt this engaged by an MP before.
