My memory on Facebook today from just 3 years ago. Must have still had some cycling mojo then but it’s sadly disappeared.
But, what, like me, you really enjoy the working part as much, if not more, sometimes than the other bits? Find a job you really enjoy and then you will never work again. I deliberately did not book anything today. Dent wise, I am already wishing I had.
Can't answer that. My job was quite high pressure 1st as European sales manager then starting off my own company.
I retired, walked away and never once looked back.
But some things still apply, if the sh*t hits the fan you don't want to be looking back thinking "I wish".
I did qualify my post by saying it was only my opinion.
By coincidence that is what I am thinking of.

Mine will be on seeded bread.
I will have brown sauce....what will you have ?
Sod it. New bike accidentally ordered. When Mrs D gets the bank statement I'll tell her Ribble make basses and it'll be OK.
Earn my money!Right @classic33 time to earn your money.
Last night's vivid dream..... so real that when I woke it took me a few seconds to realise it wasn't real.
I had been chosen to go on a space mission, a visit to the moon, along with 3 other members of the public.
I was to be picked up at my house at 1730 Thursday. So.. there I was, in town at 1630 when I remembered so had to get home quickly.
A problem was I was desperate for a pee and couldn't find a toilet so ended up in a public car par peeing against the wall while explaining to people "sorry, but I have to be home by 1730 as I am flying to the moon.
Anyway, I made it back In time and was taken to the rocket and got in.
Strange thing...... we got no training and wore just my jeans and open necked shirt.
At that point I woke up
Ohh yes... I was picked up at 1730, was going to the moon but would be back by 0730 the next morning.... which is not bad going.
Now, if a dream only last split seconds how did I fit all that in ?
Good morning all from a warm and sunny Corfu.
The daughter's wedding went off extremely well and my Father of the Bride speech went down well with some laughter in all the right places.
We're catching the local bus this morning and going into Kassiopi, a little town up the coast which I haven't been to for 40 years, I wonder if has changed out of all recognition?
This is the view from our balcony.
The White House at the end of the bay, which was the wedding venue was where Gerald Durrell, the naturist and author lived as a boy in the 1930's.
