No, the two round pin plug on it will not fit the new fangled socket on the wall.
Shaving plug with a 13amp fuse fitted.

Morning all. Have a free :smile: on me.
Chill day (chilly).....my legs aren't working yet.
When I bought my new furniture (which is really comfy) they tried to sell me what they called gliders to make it easier to move around. They wanted £20+ for them......I declined.
When the 2 guys delivered the sofa I mentioned that. One guy went to the van and came back with a load of of them....foc......Nice one.

Morning all, I am giving serious consideration to getting out of bed at the moment. Nothing planned for the day, I really should get out and buy some clothes but that may be out off again, the only things I have that fit are ties, socks and shoes, weight loss is going to be expensive. 90% chance of rain today, it is going to be a short summer of we get one.

Enjoy your day.

@screenman re scopes.
I used to do a lot of bird watching.
Best sized scopes are understood to have an 80mm front lens with variable magnification of 20x to 60x.
A tripod is imo essential.
It's worth spashing the cash as the better ones have far better 'light gathering' .
Until I got ill I had an expensive Opticron. I let my brother have it.
A mate of mine who is a very keen bird watcher has Zeis which 3 time more expensive. Better but I couldn't justify it. I could afford it but not justify it.

I’m curious what peoples views are on this. I find the habit so many have got into of posting such personal stuff on social media a bit hard to get my head round but it seems to be getting more and more common.

I had heard there was a fatal accident just a few miles out the road yesterday.

Would any of you have put a post like this on Facebook in similar circumstances?

My immediate thought is....keep it personal. Its not for the general public.
A bit sick... but that is only my opinion.
