Make sure it is leak-tested first. Many of the big-name and cheaper places just bang the gas in, only for it to leak out again very quickly, which costs money. The air conditioner system is a sealed unit; if the gas has escaped, there is a leak. I am quite aware you may already know this, but many do not, so hopefully, it may help someone in the future.

Cheers for the heads up. 👍 but I luckily had done a bit of Googling so had already found this out. My car was already booked in to local garage next week and I’ve found out they are air con specialist too, so they going to check it out at the same time. They said they will pressure check it first, for free before doing any further work. 😀

I had better hope there isn’t a heatwave in the next week 😂😀.
