Good morning all.
Today myself and my son are going out with the future son in law, and we are meeting his father and brother for the first time.
We are meeting at the flight club, a darts venue, restaurant and bar in Bloomsbury for a couple of hours and then moving on to an Indian restaurant called Dishoom in Covent garden. It's not going to be a cheap day.

I do like Indian food. Hope you enjoy it.

True story.
Sorting/shredding old paperwork yesterday I came across a letter from a solicitor I chose to fight the council over a problem with blocked drains (I won).
Anyway I went to this well known solicitor and walked into his office.
There he was in shirt, jacket and tie.
Then he stood up to get my file from the cabinet AND...........
he was wearing skirt, stocking and high heeled shoes..... I was gobsmacked.
Found out later that he was well known for cross dressing.
Very weird.

Now't wrong with a ..... solicitor........as the Kinks said in Lola - boys will be girls and girls will be boys.....
anyway, today clothes have no gender....could someone give me hand with this zip;)

We have been away for the night - afternoon tea, dinner and Murder Mystery all via Groupon - also booked rooms for the night - again on Groupon

We took the sister-in-law and her husband (hence brother-in-law) for a present for her 60th a few weeks ago

had a great time

very confusing for the hotel as my surname is Price
hence Mr and Mrs Price
when we were having afternoon tea a couple came and sat near us - the waitress asked their names
Mr and Mrs Price

A while later the in-laws turned up - my wife's sister and her husband who is also called Price (no relation on out part - REALLY no relation - he is not intellectually gifted shall we say!!!)
hence - another Mr and Mrs Price

Then at the Murder Mystery it got more confusing as there was another Price involved
not only that but her first name was the same as my wife's - and we were booked in under her name!!

any more had turned up and I would have started suspecting a weird TV programme was involved!!!!!

Anyway - the factory worker did it with the gun in the office

annoyingly - my wife got most of it right - but most people on our table went with my ideas which were wrong

she hasn;t mentioned it much!

Moors Valley parkrun this morning, a single 5k loop through the Country Park. I couldn't catch Mrs Tkk and she finished a couple of hundred metres ahead of me. By coincidence she had also forgotten her purse so I treated her to coffee and a piece of Tiramisu cake ( it's never too early for cake )
28th anniversary today, four of our friends who were at the ceremony in Boston were also at parkrun today.

Been out for a walk, 12.5 miles through the Pentlands to Balerno, caught the bus home. Heard willow warblers for the first time this year but alas no sign (yet ?) of the sand martins at their usual colony. Star sightings of the day were two of a red kite, still a rarity in these parts. This one/these two was/were only the second time we’ve seen one locally.
Stayed mostly dry until the last few hundred metres before the bus stop when the heavens opened and we were soaked in seconds.

Evening folks :okay: just had a half hour on the trainer, i have 2 modes....a, is a steady grind at the hardest level i can maintain and b, is anything really but usually short manic burst [chasing watts ] with longer easier spinning. :okay:
Have been enjoying my book- One man and his bike by Mike Carter. I liked this quote...."Deep down, cyclists know that hills, and the temporary pain and struggle they involve, are a fantastic metaphor for life. Its **** when your're struggling. But the pain will end. It always does. There's always a summit. You've just got to keep going. " :okay:
