Morning. It rained most of the night and is still very dismal out. I just had a nice bath and stuck the PJs back on just now. It is supposed to dry up by around 9 so I will get out then…..not in my PJs, I will get dressed. 
Good morning, visit to the " Beer Factory " folloed by a meal at a Greek restaurant, bloke playing the Balalaika and a couple got up and had a bash at dancing ( not Mrs Tkk and I). parkrun this morning and other daughter and grandson coming over this afternoon for a meet up. A bit grey out there, shorts or trackies🤔

Steam trains start running again today.
We're hopping on the first train to Minehead, meeting up with our pals, then we're all going back down the line to Bishops Lydeard for a swift pint and a pasty at the Quantock brewery, before catching the return train home. Should be a good day out.

Morning folks 
Woke up and went to make my usual high octane coffee and there was no power eek! A bathroom cord switch was sticking and tripping the electric, a few yanks sorted it phew got to have my coffee!
Tried my new helmet visor, excellent! no more watering eyes. Its a Cairbull lid which comes with a dark visor which i wont wear as im averse to trying to look 'cool' which isnt really possible riding a Dawes 201 but a clear visor can be bought separately on ebay for a tenner.
Optimistically sowed some flower seeds yesterday- cornflower, chrysanthemum carinatum and some larkspur

Good Morning. Glorious in Lancashire once again. That's summer done till 2031, then. @Paulus this all sounds very positive, good luck with the recovery.
So, today? Bits and pieces really. I turned down the club ride, it was an uninspiring route and I can get a lot of small jobs done by staying home. Most of the morning will be spent running around between the LBS, pharmacy, B&Q, local timber yard, blah, blah etc. The afternoon will be spent on the allotment. I have a small patch of land that needs grassing. I prepared the soil over the last couple of weeks. I hope last night's rain will be just enough to make seed sowing viable.

My lad has just WhatsApped the family group as his plane took off for LA. Only 24 hour delay which given the circumstances isn't bad.
The reaction to the LHR problem is beyond hysterical. People need to get a grip. The BBC, who I usually strongly support, are being utterly ridiculous in their effort to turn this into a national disgrace. LHR uses enough power to supply a small city. Do we need to build them a spare power station?
The LHR CEO was on the Beeb this morning. He pointed out it's like a motorway crash, sometimes closure is the only option. The M6 around Preston is frequently closed and often subject to delays up to 60 minutes. I don't hear anyone calling for a spare motorway just in case things go badly.......

You sure it is an actual hospital! Calling itself a farm hospital doesn't do it any favours.
You keep the old knee, sentimental reasons. It were part of you for so long, serving you well over the years you were together.
