Good morning, yet another sunny day☀️ Panels have already exceeded the total generation of February 😎
Mrs Tkk made her " signature dish " ( mushroom risotto) using the new induction hob. Took a bit to get used to the controls as you can't go by the height of the flame, but she mastered it and remarked that the handles of the pan didn't get as hot as with the gas hob ( think David Carradine in the " Kung Fu " TV series where he has to lift the glowing hot stone ).
Today is the day that I finally start training for Sunday's 10k, not left it too late have I ? 😉

I have a 'single' induction hob which is enough for me. I like it.
TBH I only use it for basic things like fried egg or pasta.

I have a new " game " when I get up in the night for a pee, I try to guess what the time will be on my watch face ( I have the face set to analog during the day, but it automatically switches to a digital display after dark ). Bonus points are awarded if the digits are sequential or palindromic ( 2:34, 4:24 ).

I find that it helps me to check the time very quickly

but the key is to get up and go for a pee even if I don;t feel I need to

the slight movement seems to help plus the knowledge of roughly what time it is
i.e. is it nearly getting up time or stil the middle of teh night - as this means I don;t worry if it is 7:xx and I don;t go back to sleep fully

worrying, and wondering and thinking are the things that will keep me awake

In my mind every one is different - so knowing what other do can help - but you have to find you own best way
and it will change over time
