I'll be watching and celebrating with the neighbours by way of a wee BBQ and bring your own bevy. I will need to have a reasonably early night though, as I'm cycling out to Rothesay on Sunday and maybe a swim in Kilchattan Bay, before camping for the night. š¬š§
Poo. It's not looking great is itI would love to be out on the bike during the Coronation, but in my area the forecast makes it looks like it is going to be pishing down all day, so I'm not optimistic.
I have a 400km audax route check to do, followed by a sleep.
Who's going cycling instead of watching Charlie being coronated?
Mrs Tuesday and I are going from Morecambe to near Clitheroe on the tandem and staying in a nice pub, route Bowland/Dales/flatter TBC weather dependent, returning the following day.
What exciting plans do you have?
You have my utmost admiration, but not envy! 200k my limit.
Trouble is all trains from Aylesbury only go to London (weāre at the end of a line). And thatās somewhere Iāve heard might be a little busy this weekend - something about a man in a funny hat sitting in a chair? If its raining where you are get a train to where its not.
For anyone near Ramsgate there is a full size replica traditionally built Spanish galleon there until 14/5. Ā£10to explore all over the ship. Bargain I reckon. I will try to blag a photo of my bike on Spanish galleon! š Really I will do my best.
Great thread title BTW.
