Who's going cycling instead of watching Charlie being coronated?

Mrs Tuesday and I are going from Morecambe to near Clitheroe on the tandem and staying in a nice pub, route Bowland/Dales/flatter TBC weather dependent, returning the following day.

What exciting plans do you have?

Coronation? What coronation?

We have tentative plans to cycle around Bristol a bit.

Clifton Cathedral, Clifton suspension bridge and Ashton Court.

Undecided where but a full day out on the bike definitely.

I wonder if Charles likes cyclists as much as his mum did?

Some years back in 2013 Liz was touring the Northern hinterlands of England including Cumbria.

I was cycling betwixt the two road entrances to Staveley on the A591 when Liz must've commanded two police motorcyclists to sandwich me front and rear in a little mini convoy... whilst her and her daughter took a good gander at my stylish pedalling technique (and lovely legs) as they serenely wafted by in the maroon and black Roller that gets shipped everywhere for royal use.

Most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. Not.

On topic: maybe cycling, maybe walking, maybe dossing but deffo not watching 'it'.

For anyone near Ramsgate there is a full size replica traditionally built Spanish galleon there until 14/5. £10to explore all over the ship. Bargain I reckon. I will try to blag a photo of my bike on Spanish galleon! 😁 Really I will do my best.

I have a 400km audax route check to do, followed by a sleep.
