I'm thinking of going to watch a string quartet at a local church this month. I'd just like to hear such music 'in the flesh' rather than on my laptop or on a CD. I asked the person who told me about it, if I could take my small dog as we both seem to have separation issues. She said he'd be allowed in as long as he didn't start barking during the performance. I think I'll take him just in case the event gets boring, then I can use the "He's gonna start barking" as an excuse to leave before the end.

Talking to a friend yesterday, he told me he only found out after reading up online (worrying about this mob's supposed intentions to stop 'free' prescriptions for over 60's) about his entitlement to 'free' prescriptions, that aged 66 he's been paying for six year's when he was entitled to free ones. Wouldn't you have thought that some kind of authority would've informed him he didn't need to pay!🤔

Not being a recipient of free prescriptions, isn't there a box you need to tick on the back of the prescription at the pharmacy? I would suggest that the pharmacist should have informed your friend.
