Its both; there has been a row recently over whether we need a yellow front end. After all, they don't have it on the continent, and there aren't any recorded problems of seeing trains over there.

Standards must be kept.50121 is/was probably a DMU coach. There were only 50 class 50s, 50001 - 50050 (although 50049 was numbered 50149 for a while).
...That said, @classic33 is sort of right, as 50021 was called Rodney, so yes, 'Plonker' is kinda' apt!

I believe the company that didn't (design house) is no longer in business.Well that's a bit thick - Surely they would taken it into account!
