One house in the village with two small flags out.

Not our house either.

Would be nice to think that when HM's reign comes to a natural end that we end the absurd pampering of this over-privileged family and the attendant fawning guff in the media.

We are slowly becoming less deferential as a society. Unfortunately, too slowly for me.

Every time I see Witchell fawning on the TV I have an uncontrollable urge to smash his face in

can't park outside their house or drive down a street because of a party illegally blocking the road.

Doesn‘t a parked car block the street then?

Thursday will see me acknowledge the UK's history and the Empire with a trip to Cambridge to see Bombay Bicycle Club at the Junction

Friday will see me indulging in the great British past time of shopping.

Saturday I will be celebrating British engineering & manufacturing at Brands Hatch with the Classic Sports Car Club race meeting.

Sunday will see me in Nottingham to mark the UK's involvement with the Commonwealth at Rock City with Amyl & the Sniffers - an Australian punk band 😁

Will you Boogie til it Hertz?

Looking forward to all this Jubilee stuff coming to an end. Is Monday is last day? To cap it all there's an Arriva bus strike here on the Monday.

To be fair, I have learnt something over the bloated celebratory period...

... that small children pull faces at adult get togethers.

Who could have predicted that? 😂

I think you're onto something here. :okay:

I understood that @SpokeyDokey was suggesting we end the monarchy altogether after Lizzie's reign ends. Not a bad idea since the current heir to the throne is already a pensioner and a rather unpopular successor.

I think hes actually very popular, he was mobbed recently on a walkabout through London. Prince Charles has actually done quite a lot through the Princes Trust etc. People like Prince Andrew though... shudder.
