The Olympic Games - is anyone bothered?

Just accidentally watched a minute of horse jumping on the Olympics...

But you see that's where you're going wrong. Were you to invest time, money and effort into horse jumping you'd be enthralled.

Where your heart is, that's where your treasure is also. If you polish, clean and buy shiny bits for your car, you'll love your car. If you watch gardening programs, read gardening books etc you'll love gardening.

What you need to do is find out the names of all the horse riders, how they got where they are, the history of all their horses, the full moo. Then you'll love horse jumping.

Of course that won't make the activity any more worthwhile than throwing a fridge off a cliff, but you'll think it is :0)

yes it has been good this morning hasn't it. Pity about the judo bloke falon ? Wife thinks it was definitely his last realistic chance of an Olympic medal.
Another four years at the top level ,training, competing high likelihood of injury.

Sky+ interactive wouldn't allow me to record the Road race for some dumb reason so I simply recorded direct to disk on my DVD recorder
Wish I could find ouit when the girls road race is on

brilliant race. I hadn't realised that laws and Poole were not riding for overall but to support Cooke.
What happened just before the final sprint ? she lost it on the corner and had to sprint back to the leaders then immediately launch another sprint. What amazing talent and strength
