I bought the olive green Corduroy jacket and trousers in the Cordings sale the other day. I refer to it as a jacket and trousers as there wasn't a waistcoat in the same material to make it a three piece suit, which I normally buy from Cordings. It's still classed as a suit, though I need to find suitable waistcoats to match the combination. My first thoughts are the gold coloured and the burgundy velvet Cordings waistcoats I have, depending on the shoes and hat to match of course. 🤔

Not sure about that at all Accy

There is something about a green corduroy that just shouts "No".

You say that like it's a bad thing. 🙂

No, it's louche, risqué.... just an opinion

My latest Cordings suit feels quite fitted after trying it on. It's surprisingly close to the body, so the jacket and the straight hemmed, not turn ups/cuffed trousers are more formal than corduroy stuff I've bought before. I still haven't un-stitched the pockets as I doubt I'll be wearing it yet till spring at the earliest as it's only a medium 16 ounce per square yard weight. 🧐
