I’m thinking of getting myself a Trilby hat as I now wear hearing aids which mustn’t get wet. I usually wear a flat cap, have done so for years but a Trilby it must be so Mrs says. In the ‘60s I had a Trilby much like 007s but one like his is rather expensive so would you say a decent Trilby for around £40 is a fair price?

You should get a decent trilby from Failsworth for about that, go to a decent hat shop and take someone with you to choose one that suits,

You want a baseball cap, Accy. The more frayed and grimy the better.

I think this would be a good look for him.

George Formby reckoned he did...................................Wonder if him an @Accy cyclist are related.
Perhaps Accy was George Formby’s apprentice

SWMBO has decreed that I would look ridiculous riding my bike in a Pork Pie hat so I’m getting a Harris Tweed Newsboy cap for Christmas like wot I usually wear.

Three nice wool, country style ties bought from a charity shop this afternoon, all three for £10.20. Cordings ties are usually £69 on their website. The other two are from this place. https://www.anthonyformalwear.co.uk/

I don't really wear ties anymore, but that ain't bad value to be fair, and would go well with a tweed clad countryman like Accie

Sadly it's pretty much only my black (long) tie that gets worn much these days, though the black bow tie gets an airing once a year or so
