Chicks dig suede loafers and go absolutely wild for a Rohan suit.
D'you have a link for that?

Keep them and wear them! I’ve a similar pair from Church’s, but a bit rounder on the toe, more like a dealer boot. They take a battering but still look good. View attachment 630992
I wore them yesterday as I said I would. The left one 'bugs me', as to me it looks and definitely feels too wide. 🤔

No direct compliments for the boots, but one for my matching black Failsworth corduroy flat cap, my matching tweed and black leather and black elasticated cuffs gloves and my black umbrella.

I felt a bit awkward wearing lots of black. I think yesterday might be a one off.🤔

Do any of you have/wear these kind of things? 🤔

I took the pics the other day outside a local(ish) gents outfitters, hence the reflection.

I listen to/watch James Whale. His sidekick 'Ash' calls his shirts 'blouses', as he wears the same kind of stuff.

As I said upthread, fine as indoor carpet slippers, but don't I'd want to pay
Church's or Crockett's prices just for that. You'd not want to be seen wearing them outside after all
I wear mine out, summer only obv. especially abroad and never with shorts or jeans, got to be good trousers.

Not for me, but each to their own.

Most things from this marque look expensive until you suddenly realize that the item is in its tenth year, still looks sharp and has saved its entire price in dry-cleaning bills because it is fully washable. Should you tire of an item which is still wearable, you can use their Gift Your Gear scheme to hand it on to a second wearer and get a discount off its brand-new replacement. There is a place for Primark, but this puts Primark in its place.
I've always been too much of a tart to go for the Rohan business suit but I can see the attraction. I used to have a navy pinstripe Boden one aimed at business travellers which were woven from a wool mix designed to resist creasing. It was fantastic and lasted for years of regular train commutes. In fact I think I went through about five pairs of trousers before it finally bit the dust, the last few being sourced through eBay.

I've been a Rohan fan for years and still have a few bits of their outdoor kit that must be over 30 years old and still going.

This thread is wild.

I might horrify all you well heeled chaps with my 20 year old Doc Martens later on.

Sometimes I find his videos a bit contradictory and repetitive. However, I've just watched his latest one and found it quite interesting, worrying, even entertaining. 🤔

As promised... Purchased from the truly excellent Scorpio in Newcastle's Grainger Market for £30 in a sale. Originally they were the red colour you can see inside, I painted them matt black and added a sort of dripping blood effect around the top, which you can still sort of see. They've been through a lot, from festivals to the tops of mountains, and are utterly invincible. They also fit me like a perfectly, I lent them to someone once and they gave him blisters...
