The suit arrived yesterday. I tried the jacket on, knowing it'd fit perfectly but I wanted to see how it and the colour looked. I haven't tried the waistcoat and trousers on yet, but no doubt they will also fit well.

I wore it yesterday, probably for the last time this year and till next April at the earliest. I haven't worn the above or the navy Cordings linen suit I bought, for a month or so due to the cooler weather and did think then that it might be the last time this year, but our 60 Fahrenheit sunshine yesterday allowed me one more wear this year. Though I did have to wear knee length fine wool socks and a light wool scarf with it.

Very nice. I hadn't realised we were suit twins. I have the same one (or very similar) that I bought from Cordings a few years ago. The cut and colour looks the same but mine has a plain burgundy lining similar to my covert coat. Lovely in warmer months, but hibernating for now.

I thought about wearing the navy blue linen suit yesterday for what'd probably be the last time till next spring, but it was too cool and slightly wet, so I settled for my lighter in weight than the heavier tweed suits I have, Cordings chocolate tweed suit.

I know I said I wasn't buying anymore clothes till next year, but I have until the 10th of November to claim 20 percent off my next purchase. I already have the sporting check in the three piece suit I bought the other month. 🤔 🧐

STYLE DETAILS
Eminently practical and superbly comfortable, this is a tweed field coat which more than fulfils its job description. Waterproof, windproof and breathable, it is coated with Teflon to resist everything the weather might throw at you and is as fine an example of British workmanship you will find.

Beautifully made from classic tweed, still the fabric of choice for the gentleman in the field, it is expertly cut to allow for plenty of movement through the arms and back. In addition Cordings’ Field Coats have all those thoughtful touches such as capacious pockets, a warm, breathable lining, reinforced stitching and a smart and comfortable Loden collar to make sure you stay ahead of the game.

It could do with a few more buttons

It's military style. :okay: I think brass buttons would look nice on it. 🤔

Mmmm, I quite like this one. 🤔 26.5 inch arm length in a size 40, 27 inch in size 42. I need 'long arms' due to my very long arms. It's also very long body/back length wise, which I like. It's made in a super heavyweight wool! Weight: 750gsm | 26oz. Plus it has a pocket on the left breast, making it perfect for adding a pocket square!
