Locally it's reported Rovers will replace Valarien Ismael with Wayne Rooney.

You couldn't make it up, you really couldn't. I despair. We jump from frying pan to fire employing a loser to replace a loser. Sigh.

Aw, c'mon. You are getting a famous loser. 😉

I noticed over the weekend Bradley Dack scoring for Gillingham. I always thought he looked a good player. Did he fall out of favour at Rovers or have a bad injury?

He was much loved at Rovers and had two great seasons for us. He missed almost all of 2020 following a cruciate ligament injury. Almost as soon as he returned the club gave him a new deal, presumably for three years. He then injured his other cruciate and was out for another year. The harsh truth is with almost 2½ years out through injury he wasn't the player he had been. It was a great shame but obvious to everyone and no surprise when he was released.

The days when we had Danny Graham and Dack on the pitch were great to watch.

I bought my ticket for Easter Monday's big game yesterday. Regardless of our result at Salford on Good Friday and Carlisle's result that day, Accy still need to beat fellow relegation candidates Carlisle to be almost, if not certainly safe from relegation. After Monday we play Walsall away, and Chesterfield at home on the last day of the season. Both clubs are in contention for promotion, so it's going to be tough.
