More importantly my lot have appointed Valerien Ismael as head coach. Who? Yes, that's what I thought.

Now, it's a bit of a tradition for fans to mutter "I'll give him a year." Trouble is this guy has been at seven different clubs in the last seven years.........twelve months may be a touch optimistic on my part.

Rovers are well placed. We don't need too much tinkering. Big changes, if unsuccessful, could quickly alienate the fans. If he has any sense he will listen carefully to David Lowe, many of us thought he should be given the rest of the season to prove himself.

Alles les Bleus.........very Lancashire 🤣

Opta stats have the likelihood of winning the title with Liverpool on 98.7%, Arsenal on 1.3% and every other club on 0%.

I think you can rest easy now.

Liverpool most serpently can't rest easy. Look what happened last time we had the title nailed on. 25 points clear and the title a done deal and then a pesky microbe from China reared its head and life was suspended. Now this might not happen this time round but we've got Putin, Trump and the other one in N. Korea on the world stage so it's being said the only thing that can stop Liverpool is WWIII. Fans of other clubs may take some solace in that possibility should it come to pass!

As above Rovers appointed Valerien Ismael as head coach this week. He has had 12 positions in a 13 year managerial career and lasted 50 games in his longest spell in charge. The man is a chancer. We're stuffed. Goodbye top six.

The link below is his interview with local TV. It's worth a watch. I haven't been so disappointed in my club as I am today for many, many years. This appointment and the interview reveal our priorities. He was appointed to "create a pathway for young players and assets for the club." Not a word about promotion. Sixth and 12 games to go and Ismael can't even promise giving it a good go. We have a lot of issues with our owners. Their ambitions have always been questionable. It's clear now, as a football club our only purpose is to find youngsters, prepare them for life as a pro and sell them on. Yes, we have always been a selling club, I understand that but we also had ambition.........until yesterday. I'm very, very unhappy.

Accy a ball boy i love it.

Accy walked in to Boots, could i have a Deodorant please. Is it a ball one you want ,no no it's for under my arms.

I can't remember the name of the player, but he played for Chesterfield. It was near the end of the season and Chesterfield were close to automatic promotion back up to League 1. They must've had about 2000 fans in the ground, making up at least half of the crowd. This player came steaming over all pumped up not giving me a chance to toss the ball to him for a Chesterfield throw in. He grabbed the ball out of my hands then pushed me almost over, so I stood my ground and took a swipe at him! He gave it plenty of mouth with me giving it back in equal amounts. They couldn't yellow or red card me as I wasn't part of the playing or managerial staff, so the senior steward sent me off there and then, much to the annoyance of the Accy fans who cheered and applauded me as I walked round the pitch perimeter to be let onto the terrace where the home fans stood/stand, with many shaking my hand and patting me on my back!! :okay:

Nice to see Rashford getting some decent football in last night, getting games, having some impact. I'm neither a fan of his particually or United but whatever was wrong with them or him, he's looking happier.

Yep. To many (maybe most) people £350,000 per week would make anyone happy......but it doesn't work like that to someone that just loves playing football.
