Just heard them say on the Wolves v Man Utd radio commentary that Rashford is 'playing out of his skin' and 'he's unstoppable'!'! The next time I feel a bit under the weather I might go on a 12 hour tequila binge to feel reinvigorated!

The lads playing well, hope he keeps it up for Germany this June.

All quiet in England in the January window, but exciting times at Killie. We've signed some really quality players and I'm hoping it's a sign we can be aiming for Europe. As long as it's not a disaster like our last, and far too brief foray I'll be a very happy fan!

Ipswich aren't going up and if they did they'd come straight back down, and Blackburn aren't going down. Leicester, Southampton and Leeds are going back up and QPR, Sheff Weds and Rotherham are going down. Rovers have a bigger, more modern ground than Ipswich. They are former Premier League Champions. Ipswich have only been Champions of England once and that was 62 years ago and they've only won the FA Cup once, whereas Blackburn have won it 6 times, granted their last win was 96 years ago. Rovers beat a well off League 2 team in the FA Cup, while Ipswich lost to a non league 6th tier team. Blackburn is in the north west which is a full of top clubs, whereas Ipswich is in the middle of nowhere. :hello:

Oh and Ipswich have that crap singer bloke as a 'big fan', which is another minus!! :okay:

Ipswich even claim that Norwich, which is 45 miles away is their 'local derby', when in reality their derby rivals are Colchester and Cambridge.

Sounds like you've got a "beef" with Ipswich Town for some reason accy?visited Portman Road a few times and found it to be a lovely compact ground.
I've nether thought Ipswich to be a lesser club than Blackburn Rovers.

It was a rare sight yesterday seeing east Lancashire's 3 league teams (Blackburn, Burnley and Accrington) all play at home on the same day, plus all having 3pm kick offs. In all the years I've watched football as far as I know, this is the first time this has happened. Even central Lancashire Preston North End played at home yesterday. Years ago this would never have happened as the police used to say they couldn't police 2, never mind 4 matches at the same time.

I've obviously missed it, who did you sign?

Ah, real quality then.

I always rated Van Veen as I remember him doing a bit of damage to my own club.

MacKay Steven must be a good age, especially as a winger.

It's only 17 seasons that Accrington have been a Football League club.

He did damage to everyone when he was at 'Well, was in the SPL team of the season in his second season. Believe he had the option of returning there or going to St. Mirren but chose us because he wanted to work with McInnes.

MacKay Steven is 33. Probably got a couple seasons in him maybe? I see him in the Burke kind of mould towards the end of his playing career.

Stewart is the same age, still got it based on his brief cameos. Again, a couple of seasons would be great.

Balagizi is a bit of an unknown, but he comes highly rated and it's good to see us getting loans from good premiership sides (mainly Liverpool and Newcastle these days); building those kind of relationships is the only way clubs like Killie can hope to survive.

It's really refreshing to have a board that are clearly sticking with the manager and investing in his vision. It wasn't so long ago that we were constantly panicking, promoting coaches who didn't want the job and then looking backwards to dinosaurs like Tommy Johnstone.

Oh, and I have to say, cheers for Mayo! He's been a standout for us. Did something go wrong at Ibrox? Still can't get my head around that one, not that I'm complaining.

Glad he's working out for you, I never saw him play so can't really comment.

Not that it means much, but I think Beale just never fancied him, although its always going to be tough for a young player to break through at Ibrox, especially a defender. I think he spent much of his time with us out on loan to gain experience, so hopefully it standing him in good stead now.
