I enjoy watching footy but tbh can't get entheusiastic about ACN. There are not enough players I recognise.......
Not having a go, but I don't quite follow that logic especially when one of Liverpool's biggest players is there and in with a pretty good chance of winning it.
Good start for the hosts the other day. Think they will be tough to beat, but there are a lot of teams in with a good shout.
Exactly my point.
One Lpool player.
There are many teams that I don't know a single player.
Fair enough. I'm not really fussed about not knowing the players, just enjoy watching the games.
2 games I will be watching today.
Everton Vs Villa
Utd Vs Spurs
Again, fair enough and I hope you enjoy them.
Thinking about it a bit more I suppose I like seeing random players who I've never seen before. There are a few players coming through in England now who I've been enjoying watching, but mostly it's the same faces, for me at least.
It can be even worse in Scotland! I could make a fairly reasonable starting XI out of former Killie players who are still playing their trade at various other clubs, though we do have some very promising youngsters who I'm hoping we can keep hold of for a while.
Yes, I can see both sides and understand other views. Not saying I won't watch any Afcon games but will be choosey.
Would I be nasty to hope Egypt get knocked out early so we can have our Egyptian King back home
I'm supporting Gambia.
Stockport have a player in their squad
Is this A C of N the reason why there's only been half the Premier League clubs playing this weekend? If so, why let clubs off playing their fixtures due to I suppose players being away on international duty. Prem' clubs are very wealthy, so why not just play other multi million pound players, to take the places of those multi million pound players away in this competition! When wealthy clubs sign top players they know they'll be called up for internationals, so if they lose them for a few games that's their problem, not the fans problem.
I'm supporting Ghana if they're in it?) as the capital of Ghana is Accra, which kind of sounds like Accrington.
