I didn't make a post to get involved in pedantry. My presumption is the BBC are correct with "Interim Manager." Your suggestion was "assistant catetaker" which implies he is/was assisting someone else, he wasn't.

I'm not familiar with the details of Spurs management, just amused by Levy's actions. Tottenham are a club who have long held ambitions to be seen as one of the big five, six or whatever but while Daniel Levy is in charge this is unlikely to happen. Building a fancy stadium doesn't make for a big club. It's this that makes me smile.
