Bloody Cardiff and their pointless 90th minute scoring!!
Yes, that late goal made it 1 point all round. I didn't see the game but Cardiff did well to put 2 past Man City.

I'd be up for including non-PL teams next season. Something along the lines of each player nominates a PL team and their own local team (as long as it's easy to find their fixtures and results).

How about whoever predicts the highest score for that round can throw in a non PL team.

I like the idea. However, there are still PL teams that nobody has nominated this season. I'm just wondering whether, once a player has won a couple of rounds, they'll continue to nominate another team. I like the random ''first to nominate'' window between the end of round and the posting up of the next round. And the ''PL plus local team'' will mean that those that don't have such luck/skill as you winning lot still have a chance to add to the game. And the ''window'' could apply as does now, except it wouldn't be limited to the PL. But it might have to be limited to a maximum number of teams, otherwise it could become time-consuming and unwieldy.

We could have an end of season vote on options. You are organising the prize giving, aren't you, Ian?

Yup, that's fair enough.
I did mean of course that the chosen team would be a one off for the next round to be replaced the next round by another nominated team.

Virtual beers on me for the winner of course.

Ah, a sort of guest team. I didn't twig that. 'Tis a possibility!

They will be Campaign for Virtual Ales ones, I hope.

You, who ever wins that weeks round has a nomination for the following week, and that one off nomination being replaced the following week by another team.

Got that bit. The parts that interests me are how to make it inclusive for all, and I'm also intrigued about what those of us who follow the PL might learn a bit about following a team they know nothing about for a whole season.
