This is mine. VW Westfalia from November 1967. Imported from the US via the Netherlands 18 years ago. Been to Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and across to Corsica in it.
Basic, but fun.

Booked to go to Sheringham in North Norfolk at Easter. Will get to finally test drive the awning and privacy room set up.

I've just got to hope my clip on awning works - gets a baptism of fire in two weeks as we're at Shell Island, followed by a night at Portmeirion's camper park, and it's well known for wind round there, especially Shell Island. Alternatively I could take the Nordisk Tarp, but it's 20sqm of canvas.

Aye, I'll be right on the coast overlooking the sea and I'll be make double sure my anchor straps are on board.

I'm looking forward to it, and Bruce will enjoy it.

Doggo will love it. I've bought some hard ground stakes, as Portmeirion is hard standing. I also have four screw in anchors, which have been used to hold down a friends tent (in a storm) and also to secure the large tarp when it get's a bit wild, although the standard Nordisk pegs are more than upto it. We've been camping with a group of friends a few times, and someone usually has a gadget they have that's come in useful. One friend has a 64oz rubber mallet (used for laying flags) but it makes light work of windbreaks. Much more useful than my 16oz one (since upgraded to 32oz)

Reminds me, I need to clean the folding mesh fire pit - blooming love that gadget after seeing a few used last year. Great airflow and super hot fires with low smoke. They also fold up not much bigger than a 1l water bottle.

Aye, Bruce loves it. He's a well behaved boy so we can safely take him anywhere, and he enjoys the smells, the food, the attention.

Lemmy used to love swimming 🏊‍♀️ in the sea but Bruce is a sensible soul and gets upset at being wet.

Show him a mirror and read him a book about his breed

He clearly thinks he is a different type of dog!!!

Where did you get it from @fossyant ? Was looking at some really cheap ones and wondering if any good.

Oh, the LWB is "desirable" now, and no longer "not worth the extra cash and it's too long for a standard parking bay so awkward to park and a pain as a daily drive because of that" as is the general prevailing view in T5/6dom?
