Where did you get it from @fossyant ? Was looking at some really cheap ones and wondering if any good.

Amazon - £15-£20 - went for the 22" - I've just ordered the replacement mesh for mine. They work really well, and burn nice and hot as well as being compact.

Edit:- I bought one having seen them in use whilst camping last May. I thought, nah they must be rubbish, but seeing how well other's wood was burning, then a friend showed me his, it was the smaller one. I went bigger for extra stability and further from the ground. I still use a fireproof mat under it.

We started with a 1972 Early Type 2 Bay, fun but unreliable
next was a T5 Californi, should have kept it
last was an Autosleeper Kingham on a Peugeot Boxer base, it ticked every box except we never liked it. Sold to buy the wife am Audi Q3, sometime we will get another Transporter sized van.

Even with the van camping, MrsF doesn't want to know - it needs to be comfortable, like the tent. The tent worked, so I've got to make camping/day van stuff work for us as this is our plan now. Slightly buggered up for our Bala trip as I my not be fit to ride a bike, but we will see. I can at least sit on a paddle board.

Yep, if it's not live and not iplayer no licence is required. I refuse to pay the paedo tax. In a typical year the Beeb lose 300k licence payers, but last year they lost 900k,

On a happier note I'll be cleansing the campers fresh water system today. I'll leave it a day or so to get fully sloshed about then will flush through a few times.
