They cant be that trendy or affluent or they wouldnt be in Wetherspoons!

I'd like first-class, tasty beer (specialist or not), and I'd like those who produce it not to have to struggle to do so against multinational megacorps subsidised by a corporate welfare state churning out identikit fizzy yellow pish in an economy almost wholly rigged in their favour.Ok, let me rephrase, maybe trendy was not quite the right word?
I want first class, tasty, specialist beer from niche brewers, but it would be really great if the price could be brought down to compete with the mass market bulk producers. How about a nice subsidy from the tax payer, because we all know that the money would otherwise only be wasted on hospitals or police or something else equally silly!
I'm not really comfortable with the fact that the budget has given tax relief on what, let's face it, is a luxury item when that money could have been used much more effectively elsewhere in the economy.
But hey, it makes great headlines and I'm sure it will be popular with the vocal recipients.....
I go to spoons for the often excellent well served and ever changing beers, very often with a bike. And believe it or not I like the very inclusive diverse atmosphere and clientele you get in many. If you want to keep drinking the same old stuff from your bathtub day in and out do feel free of course drago. They cant be that trendy or affluent or they wouldnt be in Wetherspoons!

still only two.I like first class tasty beer.
So I make my own at 20p a pint. I now have 80 pints of Golden Shower lager, and 120 pints of Scruttocks Olde Shagnasty bitter mellowing. So thats Christmas morning taken care of.
Served with a bike? Are the inmates throwing it back at you again?I go to spoons for the often excellent well served and ever changing beers, very often with a bike.

How strong is it?
I didn't think homebrew was that cheap- must admit I always associate it with a somewhat nerdy chemistry teacher of mine - and always had the idea that it was kinda drinkable but not too much to write home about.
The Golden Shower is 5.3%, the Shagnasty a perfect 4.8%. Of course, secondary fermentation continues in the bottle so by the time I've worked my way down to the last bottle it could be considered a barley wine.still only two.
Still, pop your address over (never been too sure where "poshshire" is) and I'll be happy to pop round to sample.
