You can get nice Guitar stickers for your wall, they are cheaper than buying actual guitars.

That's got to be one of the best guitar solos of all time. Just sublime.

Decided to get back into six string again. Difficult to get something here, plenty of Fender Strats but all are fakes. I've found this 2012 made in china Squire Affinity on the local equivalent of Gumtree locally for 1000cedi (£70).
What do you think? It's filthy dirty and there's corrosion on the metal parts but the body looks okay. Could be a good project.
One guy has a Fender Starcaster up for 3 1/2 times the price but I believe quality is below Squire.

I think there's a very nice strat lurking under all that gunge, a good clean & fettle, it'll be good to go
Edit: The other good thing with strats is that there are loads of aftermarket upgrades easily available, that can turn it from a good guitar, to a bl**dy great guitar

And affinity series Squiers (or certainly older ones) are allegedly built to similar specs as 'real' ones, unlike my 2021 Argos special hardtail which has a plywood body only about 2/3 normal thickness.
