Finally got December's ride and therefore the challenge done today. A biting wind and a sore back from all the coughing I've been doing the past two weeks notwithstanding, it turned out to be an uneventful ride. Kept it fairly local - almost retracing the sort of route that I did a lot of back in the dark days of 2020. Did happen to bump into (not literally) a guy who I used to cycle with on the Waddesdon Greenway (although he was running today) and got a quick catch up with him, which was nice.

It was sunny here 30 km or so south of you, and it was a good day to be out (I did a lumpy 26 ride), but... there was a blustery wind blowing here!

Did not see the sun all ride, although at least it was better than the previous two days when it was foggy as well. 7 degrees C, but with the sharp wind the "feels like" temperature was apparently 1 C and it certainly felt like it!

I am going to walk to the shops and check conditions. If it doesn't feel too bad I will go out on the bike and do one of my short lumpy local loops.
I suspect that I will give outdoor cycling a miss for a couple of days though!
PS Horribly wet and windy... PASS!

Last in 2020, probably equal last in 2021, third from last in 2022, must have been slacking in 2023 as looks like I got it done middle of the month, now back to my best as last to finish again this year! Nothing like consistency.
But I have managed 130 consecutive months of at least a 50km ride (22 of those were before joining this challenge), so that's something good.
