Yes, it's cowardly and its wrong. And beating anyone who breaks into your house to a pulp is wrong as well.Makes my blood boil at such a cowardly act, shame he didnt break into a house my mate lives in !

What? No, of course I don't.Hope you don't think this is a personal attack on you its not meant to be,
Me too, mate. I've been burgled several times. I've seen plenty of burglars going through the courts, too, and most of them are half-witted little tosspots, usually with a drug habit. I still don't think it's a crime that justifies a response of extreme violence, unless violence is offered by the burglar - which is not often the case.just my opinion.of the low lifes who commit these crimes. its awful being a victim of this crime as I have been one.
Can you show us where any of us were condoning burglary or feeling sorry for burglars? In reply to asc1951 a teenager burgled a house in leicster and was disturbed by a 55 year old woman who was living on her own , he assaulted her by knocking her to the ground and stamping on her chest caus ing her sternum bone to break and puncture her lung!! so you feel sorry for the half witted teenager as he didnt get all his haul away!! Makes my blood boil at such a cowardly act, shame he didnt break into a house my mate lives in ! He would have the finest beating he has ever had in his poor unfortunate life he lives as my mate is trained in self defense no weapons needed. Their are total scumbags and dont deserve any sympathy if they burgle for a living.
This is a far better step on the road to Karma than getting hold of weapons likely to land you in Crown Court on a GBH rap.How weighty is the Zefal?
The OP was a semi serious question. Twice in the last month, I've found myself in a situation where my size hasn't proved to be intimidating enough. Nothing has come of these situations but....
As SWMBO keeps pointing out, I'm not getting any younger and it's quite a few years since I hung up my black belt for the last time. I must admit I am very prone to putting my bike down and yanking on car door handles so maybe calmness should be my aim.
Have we seen you on the list of PCC candidates? If someone breaks into my house they better be prepared to leave in a box.
SeeOr you could stop buying the redtops and reflect that our bit of the world is a much safer place than they would have you believe. Unless you mix with the people who cause it, your chances of being threatened with violence in the street or at home are absolutely minimal.
Local one did so just before the store relocated. Along with stab vests, handcuffs & a host of other clothing items used both by security & the police.I've just rung Niton who inform me that any online order made without a Police or other Crown agency purchase order will receive a cancellation email.
When did B&Q sell telescopic batons?
I currently cycle on much quieter roads than I used to. It just makes it more annoying when someone endangers my life to gain a couple of seconds. I'm definitely trying to count to 10 more this week. This is a far better step on the road to Karma than getting hold of weapons likely to land you in Crown Court on a GBH rap.
I can understand road rage, but you have to ask yourself, if you're getting so wound up on the roads that you are yanking on car door handles to confront the drivers you may need to take a bit of a look at the root causes of all that anger. Shiite driving may not be that root cause.
Have you had the cancellation email from Niton yet?Local one did so just before the store relocated. Along with stab vests, handcuffs & a host of other clothing items used both by security & the police.
Huddersfield one was selling them long before then.
No, we were having a debate on whether it was legal to own a baton to attach to a bike, because the OP no longer felt that his martial arts would make him the winner when he confronts motorists. No one mentioned knives or stun guns or firearms. What a society we live in now, when I was young my grandfather used to put a key on a string inside his letterbox so I could let myself in , times are changing and not for the better methinks. you had respect for the police, older people and your parents too. Now we are having debates on carrying telescopic battons to protect ourselves against scum that carry knives, stun guns and probably guns too.
Nope, from my understanding of the helpful responses, as soon as you intend to use it as a weapon it'll become illegal. I suppose if you're taking a beating and say you instinctively used it to protect yourself you'd be ok. However my ideas were purely offensive /deterrent basednope lol could do with some shrooms though, dont need a telscopic batton got a nice heavy chain lock which is perfectly legal , mmm I think
