Ah OK.^_^ Only doing 4 platforms currently. No outdoor rides yet this year. Maybe I will do a commute next week, depending on the weather. Currently wet snow all over the place and around 1C, so not yet safe in the morning when the water freezes to ice.

Should turn to around 4-8C midweek, so both snow and morning ice will be gone. :okay:

We are about the same latitude 57 north. Gaining over half an hour of daylight every week. It sure seems nice. We’ve only had one week of cold weather but lots of rain this winter.

OK. @Barbes66, youre welcome to this week's stage! Maybe I could have pulled a bit back if I had a ghost to chase on the downhill but probably not much. I was just pleased to get to the top of the hills!

Cheers @Rod McG . That was a tough one to come back to post illness. Had I realised that you were on I'd have joined you rather than an Indievelo bot-fest.

I stopped brvr and strava subs to save a bit of money just cos they all start adding up , brvr didnt do anything more than rouvy , strava I do miss cos the free version doesnt give as much information ( nor should it I guess ) it is good how the different platforms solve their problems . Zwift let people gather momentum to breakneck speeds just free wheeling , rouvy has a max speed (44.7) you can reach but you can reach it quicker if you put more effort in , rgt had you breaking if a corner came up so on hairpins you had to pedal out of them to get speed back up before it stopped you again and bkool has me ( dont know about others ) pedalling as hard downhill as I do uphill with not much reward ( certainly a workout but it does grate a bit in a race situation ) I know there is an advantage being heavier going downhill in real life but I have never been dropped irl because of difference in weight when drafting someone else - I have been dropped like a stone once it becomes technical due to lack of skill and kahonies. please dont think this is a dig at bkool , its not , I know the difference in the platforms and thats the way it is - they are all 'quirky'- at the minute I have been doing challenges on rouvy that has been more what I am aiming for at the moment , once I have got back to the fitness I want then I will shake it up a bit and see if you will find a space for me - as bkool is a sub I haven't dropped

Tomorrow I'm gonna try latest Tacx Training app to see how it feels. I use to ride about 20-years ago with Tacx I-Magic and later software what came with Tacx Fortius. I agree what Lee said above. Personally I don't need strava subscription, I have Garmin connect and also intervals.icu. That's enough for me. Maybe I could live without intervals.icu.

@Rod McG Shocked at how close I was to you. No ghosts sucks for reruns though, and considering how tough that was doubt I try it again.

I won't be on tonight. Went to the doctor today and got a Salbutamol inhaler which should help. However, I would need a TUE to race with you other professionals, and I haven't secured that yet.

Feel better sir. I'm not a 100% yet either after coming down with some nasty virusy thing, but will give it a run if someone wants to start it. Could also do another time if folks prefer. Saturday no beuno.

Has anyone found any benefit from changing the sprocket? I had a quick look and it seemed to make no difference at all. Of course it would only be any good if it could be easily changed back at the top of the hill.

I felt like it helped me on the steeper climbs, as I wrote a few pages back. However, back then you couldn't change on the fly.
