@Randyberlin Hell yes he did. It's a semi-hollow body (f hole delete), rings like freekin bell compared to the fender tele I also have..I'll need to grow huge sideburns just to play it.

Side gig, no pay - penance for wanting to inject ethics and risk analysis into the pedagogical approach in teaching engineering students. F'ing criminals leading tech (VW, Theranos, FTX, etc, ect) today have led me to stick my oar in the water re. teaching young folks.

Cheers @Duckman . You were going well too - never far behind on the climbs. Tough course though with that climb right from the off. Actually felt quite fresh having had a few days off - need to learn from that.

@Barbes66 Going to Portugal next fall for a wedding, trying to suss out riding scene as we're there for 3 weeks possibly. Lots of challenging hills I think, but Rouvy has none, will look at BKool next.

Nice - a friend has a place in Algarve (Quinta do Lago) and loves the riding out there. Autumn weather should be ideal too.

Hopefully locals won't be completely burned out on tourist folk at that point. Got to rent a bike somehow.

I don't expect to ride the league ride today, as the dreadful 10-16% start killed me on Thursday. Coughing and a hard time clearing the airways made it an unpleasant experience!

I will do some lower intensity/flatter ride earlier in the afternoon...
