Did some riding early summer when weather was OK but spent last 2 months doing nothing as the turbo was packed away and outside was a no go. Never tried rouvy since 2018 as it didn't work for me then. What about you?

I went away on a cycling trip with Berty Basset and a few others at the start of the summer, but same as you really, for different reasons, I’ve hardly looked at a bike since.

I’m going to head out for a little spin this morning, just to make sure nothing falls off either me or the bike… and if alls well I think I’ll try and start getting into a bit of a routine through the week

Cheers Shim. 8 miles and out… quite startling how quickly the fitness goes isn’t it. I’m half tempted to do some type of a fitness plan. I’m not sure that half will talk the other half into it to be fair.

@AAAC 76C, have you managed to dust the cobwebs off your turbo yet?

I think I’ve got @BILL S phone number somewhere. If so I’m gonna start preparing a fire under him too.

I’m buggered if I’m dying on my own!

might be a bit of a moot point anyway , don't think I can be bothered with Zwift anymore , been quite liking rouvy but quite understand there are more races on Zwift and most of you enjoy it on there

No zwifter here. Bkool and tacx only. Rgt was decent till the steering and I could t be bothered

Try Rouvy free trial , there are races organised by muckersworldwide that are well attended and policed , no power ups and stuff just pedalling , draft works quite good and max speed for everyone is 44.7 , the larger you are , the quicker you get to max down hill

I did try that when I 1st got my bkool trainer and it didn't work well. I have hooked it up to my treadmill and used once or thrice.

Hi all, quick update on out good friend Randy.

Randy was released from the hospital yesterday and doing very well. Starting to build back all the muscle he lost after 2 months in a hospital bed. The apt we rented has a gym with some bikes so he’ll at least start spinning soon. Hope to get home to Alaska the end of October if his labs and biopsies continue to go well.

So make sure you get your winter training in soon as Randy will hopefully be back chasing us down before you know it.
