Unless it's a pack of cookies, herrings and schnapps.

Haven’t had schnapps all year (or any other alcohol for that matter), but a pack of cookies last night and pickled herring for lunch today. :hungry:

@Brusgaard - you have a worrying way of racing ! I am at my limit and you are nipping at my heels , then you pass and I have to go into panic mode ! I’ve got the edge uphill but think you have got me on flat - my only hope is that you and tommy collide - hopefully taking out shim and the others

I was avoiding trees never mind @Brusgaard. Next month there will be a long downhill for the power / heavier riders...... I spin out on the neo2t and doing 100+ rpm for 150w is annoying...
Maybe stage 1 a big downhill to give others a lead to defend the rest of the month?

I think absolute watts matters a lot more in BKOOL on the flat sections. Duckman usually has problems hanging on too on the flats, despite pushing way more w/kg. The same for you today, but as you say, when it goes up for more than a few 100 metres I‘m done. :surrender: In reality I should loose 10 kg, but that is never gonna happen, unless I get some serious disease.

You speakng from experience? Should the commissaries look into a substance abuse too?? We might need a urine sample! Please make one and send it to @shimceltic, as he seems to drink anything that looks remotely like beer. ^_^ Then we will let him judge wether there is any foul play!

Anybody ever change their crank arm length? My natural cadence when not watching is low 70s. Some YouTube suggested shorter would result in higher. I've always used 172 but may try 165

My indoor bike is 175, my new Stages SB20, I set to 170. (Experiment)

I have noticed a higher cadence, less knee discomfort and harder pedal effort .

But this works to my benefit when I go back to my race bike, I pedal faster but with more leg power, but it's easier due to increased crank length

I’ve never been convinced by this argument to be honest Randy. My track bikes have 165mm crank arms and my road bikes have 175mm. And I don’t notice any difference.

On a side note if you can make a conscious effort to raise your cadence that does have a noticeable benefit.
