I can report that the Stage of the Day was actually quite fun. Short, 10 km, and flat. It started at GMT - 1 hr and warm up was 10 mins earlier.
It was done in 3d without any added graphics. There was 30 - 40 riders, which makes a pleasant change!
 
Following a recent email from BKOOL I thought I might try the "Stage of the Day" this evening. Anyone know what they are like, or even whether the scheduled time is Spanish time, or GMT?

I did an easy one that was on the top of the splash screen and it was a good ride. I got to see quite a few riders as they passed.

Thursday ride is short and sweet. My lack of carbs is affecting energy levels when need to do a burst, can manage a few then I'm done and into z2 ability. If I take a gel before the ride will I use all the carbs before the end so I'll still be in keto mode? @BILL S might know.

Good. It’s going to be interesting to see you fast guys. The small climbs will make it fun for you guys. I think you all can power up them.
But what’s going on with your leg?

I've had a bad calf since last year. Its OK cycling but every time I try to run it pulls. Been doing various exercises and mini trampoline etc so tried a run tonight and it tightened within 10 mins. I will have to just do 5 mins for a bit and then increase.

That sucks. But like someone on your Strava said, slow and steady

He lives opposite and when I moved in seen me on bike, he was training for an iron man.
