I'm more dubious than impressed. Cheating isn't good for anybody.485watts average, impressed I am...

No heartrate, so very dubiousAverage 485watts and only 0.9 IF - one of the world tour teams should sign him up.

Im fine in the real world and on tough bsim gradients, it's just on bkool fitness when doing a class and it wants me to do 90 rpm out of the saddle in z2 it impossible due to lack of resistance.I get out of the saddle a lot (on climbs), Alberto the dancer is my club nickname. My climbing technique which works for me is 0.6km standing, 0.4km sat, standing at every km post. My goal to do it to the top of each climb and for all the climbs on the ride. To try to keep the cadence steady when i stand I change up one gear after about 10 pedals and then up another about half way through the standing section. I then change down two gears as soon as i sit. Having electronic gears helps with shifting while out of the saddle but I do it on the second bike too. Oot produces a bit of a yo-yo effect, I'm 2/3kph faster out of the saddle but my climbing partner who is always sat knows to let me go when I stand and I'm then a target for him when I sit.
See if this works for you on the fitness rides.
Smart pro 2, it's fine on tough training zones and higher resistance just the easier bits where they want me to spin with hardly any resistance. Legs go everywhere!what trainer do you have?
I find big ring the best platform for solo training.Well, after having tried Rouvy for 2 weeks, here are my conclusions: the graphics are great. Video's at 1920x1080 are great to watch. Rider information is nice too, looks a little like Zwift. The augmented reality rides are very nice. What I don't like: no egr, no other views in the display (like Bkool), no virtual 3D-world and less rides available than in Bkool, no automatic upload to Strave (you have to send the excercise yourself from the Rouvy dashboard). I haven't tried a team ride, but it seems there's a lot of rides going on during the day.
In short, Rouvy and Bkool are similar on most points. The graphics of Rouvy are way better, but I do like the enormous list of rides available for Bkool. For now, I'll stick with Bkool. I do hope however Bkool improves their video resolution and show more rider info (also during races, e.g. w/kg and speed of your competors etc). I already suggested that to them multiple times.
Next to try: BigRingVR
a) The Bkool fitness experts trying to get us to 'engage our cores' out of the saddle at low resistance levels.Im fine in the real world and on tough bsim gradients, it's just on bkool fitness when doing a class and it wants me to do 90 rpm out of the saddle in z2 it impossible due to lack of resistance.
@Brusgaard if you don't feel well enough to ride tonight I'll start the session though if prefer not to, I'm crap at it.
Keep safeI'm not gonna ride. Had the C-test done yesterday, awating the result (hopefully) later today. Got no sleep this last night (sans maybe 5-10 mins here and there), so getting on the bike is the least of my priorities right now!
I should be able to start if I'm back in time. Not guaranteed a countdown though
Ok @shimceltic starts out, unless he can't and we hope Tuesday's lack of countdown was just a bkool glitch... As if!
That's what I use. I like the fact that the session continues on the selected video until completion using power output to give speed, the grade stays at 0%. It is a pain in the backside at times though, loads of power to give but not enough resistance to fight against. You end up doing 8mph up some grades because 52/11 is only giving 175w @90rpmI find big ring the best platform for solo training.
What is the point of cheating, only cheating yourself. if one has to cheat, maybe ought to go and get a life.I'm more dubious than impressed. Cheating isn't good for anybody.
Ah, that is a wheel-on trainer. They are known to be very critical to calibrate. Depends on tire-pressure, tire etc and they can slip. Without proper installation, the calibration can be way off, giving false readings or might cause slip. A direct-drive trainer does not have that issues. I started with a wheel-on trainer, but always felt the resistance was not accurate. I then switches to a direct-drive trainer and this feels much more like the real world.Smart pro 2, it's fine on tough training zones and higher resistance just the easier bits where they want me to spin with hardly any resistance. Legs go everywhere!
