I will set up the session for Saturdays re-run if Geoff's not around, so if anyone fancies a good workout at 5pm, please join in.

Finally got round to doing a 50 there now - 17m 06s. Couldnt keep the power up. Have also done the dummy session.

Now just need to do stage 2 of Mountain goats, but will also have to do a session of this weeks handicap before Thursday as I was on the Realtour first time round.

Nice. I did 17m 28s with Bill towing me. I'm tempted to try again with my new big chain ring but I need to do the goat ride from last week. That is where I find out if the 39 will be small enough with a 32 rear cog.

Was your cadence at 125?

Are you goading me Mr. S? As soon as this cold lifts, I will have a go. Still feel pish to be fair.

Would I goad you Adam? ;) Sorry to now add Col d' Aspin to that list, but I'm sure you're well capable of going in for the kill and getting the better of my ghost. Hope your cold gets better soon so you'll be fighting fit for the big challenges ahead;)

I reckon your 39 will easily be small enough if you have a 32 rear. You can do some fairly steep hills on that gearing. Wish I'd gone for the 53/39 option when I bought my bike.

Yes. It worked for d'lzoard .It actually felt better and the 53 was much better on those two small downhill spots.
The only problem was I left too much cable on the front derailleur and it kept poking me on every pedal, and I was too lazy t o stop. So I kept bending over and pushing it out of the way.The one time I'm glad I have a low cadence.

Bill, would you mind doing the time adjustments for the dummy sessions to match these times, as I'm still in hospital and I've temporarily let my premium lapse.

Thanks,

Geoff

Nope. Cadence seems to be all over the place. Must ask bkool about it as it's annoying!

They've published my Burrington Combe (near Cheddar) video http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/676408?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1

Video taken from the handlebars of my bike, so a bit wobbly at times. It's a short (3.5 Km) climb averaging 5.5% and max 11.5%, no flat bits or descents. Took 13 minutes in real life, so around 10-15 minute session I guess.

If anyone gives it a go, please let me know how you get on.

Hopefully off to Sidmouth tomorrow so will try and get some more video.

Geoff
I rode it yesterday. Very nice to pass those two other cyclists. It gave me a feeling of accomplishment. It wasn't until later I realized no matter how slow I went I would pass them anyway. I would say not any handlebar wobble at all.great job. Just another reason to speed up your recovery and get back behind the camera.

No problem Geoff. That's done.
Unfortunately I somehow managed to do Randy out of 4 seconds. Sorry Randy, Hopefully I or Geoff can take that off the next league adjustment.

IMG_20150412_171006_hdr.jpg Those 4 seconds may cost me my 3rd consecutive 7th place trophy for April.

The guy in yellow was my cycle buddy, I gave him a head start! I'd trained all winter and he'd not been well. Now I'm in hospital and he's out riding!
