Currently coping with man flu so not really up to the turbo at the moment. I appreciate that might sound a bit weak given Geoff's travails (Hi Geoff:hello:) but chills and cold sweats at night are no fun :sad:

I did go out for a 60 miler to Box Hill yesterday. Lovely day. Strange thing is other road users were great, careful and considerate in their driving. It was many of the cyclists that were not, especially the Alpha males riding in groups. Don't get that on Bkool!

Geoff I've just read your news, I hope you have a full and speedy recovery. Feel free to blame having to chase Jack the stoker. I try to find a way to blame him for everything. It works for me.

I feel your pain Bob. I have been off the bike for 4 days now with a stinking cold. The occasional obscene hand gesture aimed at the BKool, as it sits there, silently taunting me, has been my only interaction with it. Still have no inclination to climb aboard atm. It's taking all the enthusiasm I can muster, to go to work.
Did find enough energy to haul my tired finger to the 'pay now' button, and buy me a nice Castelli long sleeve jersey. Not that it'll fit me, I am proportioned like an orang utang, and that is NEVER a sizing option in the drop down menu. But I live in perpetual hope, that a bored underpaid Chinese sweat shop labourer, might have been more focused on their equivalent of Loose Women, and forgotten to cut the sleeve length until it was 4 inches longer than it should have been.
I unfortunately I am also relying on quite a few other circumstantial anomalies to align themselves, in order for me to actually receive this one, perfect jersey....fingers crossed.

I know this quandary very well and have settled on short sleeves and arm warmers :okay:

For very cold weather I have a jacket that has arms that are too long, I treasure this jacket.

Well, if it is proportionate like the Castelli Gabba 2 (http://www.cyclewear.dk/shop/gabba-2-ls-859p.html), you should be fine. I have a wingspan of 2 meters, and still there's about 2x3 cm sleeve to spare.

<edit>
Forgot to mention: I'm 1.9 meters tall, and chose the XL size. It's a perfect close fit with very long sleeves.

This is the Castelli Mortirolo 3, and I hope so! Went XL, praying for the arm length, but hoping the body doesn't act like a spinnaker on me. I also shopped with a good mind to my vendors returns policy. Included in my message to the courier was, please don't leave until I've tried it on.

I don't know how you guys can even think about long sleeves with the weather we've had lately. For me long sleeves is strictly for winter only. Southern Softies :tongue:

Only because your attic is so bloody hot! Oh, and didn't you head South too? :whistle:
Guilty as charged. And I'm getting soft too in my old age. I used to mountain bike in the middle of winter, in the snow, in Scotland, wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Now I have a bkool instead, and am feeling very reluctant to go back outside into the elements.:girldance:
