This is contra to current research, wide, low pressure is faster

I might do this tomorrow morningNothing to beat Randy... ran out of legs a few miles in... might try again on Saturday... however... I’m still in shock having gone without beer to ride with you n Jimmy and both you bailed... I hit an 18% dead stop which took me from 2 minutes behind Bill to 12 minutes.. wallop..
Just take lots of momentum into the climbi'll try the stage 1 of the january league today...but there seem to be something steep at the end...I'm not sure I will be able to climb it without a small chainring

I got the email.... Thx. I'll wave as we fly over upsalla this evening on our way back to Stockholm from kiruna.sorry...won't make it tonight...being dragged out by wife.
But, I tried the WC stage 4 just now (downhill) with my new bigger chainring (53).
Pro: went faster
Con: cable now too short for the derailleur (as I had to move it to fit the new chainring) so now I have only one usable chainring . This means doing the WC2 or any other uphill stage on any kind is out of the question
So, only downhills and flatsies until I get it right.
If I get off the bike diring the ride I can of course manually change front gear...a bit like in the old days...but I fear I'll loose way too many seconds that way. But for the longer 6 hour bkool sessions in the alps, it will be perfect
Yes, my super new hand built carbon wheels recommend 80psi max for best speed with 23c tyres. This is contra to current research, wide, low pressure is faster
