Only another 7 years until retirement for me.
I might even take up real cycling again.
This year will determine when I retire, or at least stop working! We have some land where we could (possibly) build up to 5 4/5 bed houses. All subject to planning, covenents, and a few other obstacles so it's probably 50/50 so far how this will pan out. Might all come to nothing, or it may work out in our favour; if the latter then we're hoping it can all be sorted out by the end of 2020. Should know more this Summer. Until then I'll be working 2 days a week whilst my company allows it; if they change their mind I'll go back contracting for 6-12 months whilst the land gets sorted out.

Who knows, by the end of all this I may be able to buy a new bike  :bicycle:

From everything I've read about English landed Gentry, I think you also have to get a horse to ride around and collect the rent from your tenants.

Added a 2019 plan thread. Feel free to add your goals for the year. I've asked initially for no comments, just on post each with your plan - this way the plans will always be on page 1 and 2 with no clutter. Once everyone who wants to has added plans then we can start to comment on there, but let's try and keep it clean initially.
You die hards are welcome to add your plans too

Cheers. C

If I want to add others do I challenge each individually and they all appear?

There aren’t many who have ridden the stages as I only posted them on Bkool late last year. Challenge me, or other riders closer to your standard, and add bots for company...

I’m riding the stages between 80 - 90% effort.. and going to start using the CG for cardio.. :highfive:

sorry...won't make it tonight...being dragged out by wife.

But, I tried the WC stage 4 just now (downhill) with my new bigger chainring (53).

Pro: went faster
Con: cable now too short for the derailleur (as I had to move it to fit the new chainring) so now I have only one usable chainring :banghead:. This means doing the WC2 or any other uphill stage on any kind is out of the question

So, only downhills and flatsies until I get it right.
If I get off the bike diring the ride I can of course manually change front gear...a bit like in the old days...but I fear I'll loose way too many seconds that way. But for the longer 6 hour bkool sessions in the alps, it will be perfect

I still haven't worked out how to add bots. I'll challenge yours anyway and try to stay in front
