Now that’s what I call commitment... and still cheaper than joining a gym..

My knee is better noo, it’s not frozen solid up here anymore, it’s going to stop raining tonight.. so a little jaunt in the RW tomorrow morning.. :hyper:
I thought I'd ride more on BRVR but after the initial few rides just didn't feel it any more. I worked out it's the group riding I like, others to push me on.

Glad the knees are better as i'm assuming having a crock knee isn't so good with all that climbing in the land of Scots. I'm def a fair weather outdoor rider, so won't be venturing IRL again now until next year

I think that is the advantage of the BRVR goats league, it does spur you on, although a lot dropped out during the summer and have not returned.

I too like social riding, but I've still not worked out the draft in zwift ... It's bloody weird! Much better implementation in BKool IMO

I hardly used my zwift trial but there didn't seem to be any variety of course, lots of riders though. I like the variety on bkool, just a shame the rides I've tried to create from real life never worked in 3d

Don't get me started on uploading routes to BKool ... why do they allow tracks recorded on a turbo to be uploaded??? Madness!

I spend a lot of time on my video routes, and get seriously pissed with the BKool video editor, and the conversion not allowing the route to convert to 3D ... Apparently you cant go from a -1.2% to a 2% gradient in 1 second in real life, in spite of that actually being recorded on my Garmin! If I do any move videos, then I've got to add another step into the process that amends the 'Steep Cross Gradient' errors ... Oh note that the error message doesn't say "Too rapid a change in gradient" ... also the software doesn't say ... would you like me to smooth that out for you?

The 60Km limit and gradients cannot be greater than 20% is also a bit of a pain ... though you can / could get round it with a video route  ... until they 'fixed' it

Glad you are enjoying zwift. Some of us still prefer the overall experience bkool gives us, despite its (well documented) problems, video and 3d gives me a range of options that i don't think zwift does. As it seems you no longer have any affiliation to bkool and unless you are being paid by zwift to recruit people I don't quite understand why you are still posting so negatively in this BKOOL forum?
Didn’t think that was a particularly negative post !
I tried the new sim after renewing subs but found it disappointing with the neo as it still isn’t useable with strange readings and blue numbers
( in my humble opinion )
Also tried the old version of bkool with no joy - again with neo
I tried as I really like the idea of the bkool experience
It’s hard to give a positive review when it seems they just keep making it worse for non bkool users without even fixing the issues for bkool machines as well

American lady posting on joint US/UK Mini Cooper site tells a story of a cracked weld on her exhaust but she spelt weld as wield 3 times in the post so I simply posted 'weld?' to make sure she was aware of her typo and or understood what her mechanic had told her.
Now I am the scurge of the world, a troller and a dickhead.
She also wrote a 16 page post to tell me that.
Lucky I didnt see that last night when I had a bit of wine in me as I may have asked her if it was the wrong time.

Same reason I didn't respond last night ... cans of Stella not conducive to a sensible response. This morning, I'm fine that everyone has their own view. I'm learning through painful personal experience that life is too short and too precious to waste arguing with people, especially on line.

Saying that though, would love to see the 16 page diatribe .... maybe Dave Gorman can use it for one of his found poems

Went to chemist today to pick up my asthma meds, and realised I pay £17 minimum each month.

You can get prescription prepayment cards that work out as little as £8.67 a month...

“A prescription costs £8.80 per item, but prepayment costs:
  • £29.10 for 3 months - card payment
  • £104 for 12 months - card or Direct Debit (10-monthly instalments of £10.40)”

On an unrelated note, as I was adding ghosts to catch up on last week's race I saw your Bkool Avatar. Is that you?
